I can now use flip up magnifiers and clip on flash lights to make tying on flies, changing tippet, etc so much easier. Need a stiff brim for those items and I much prefer hats with a full wrap around brim over baseball style caps. Besides the brim, this hat is cool, well ventilated, quite water resistant, and provides plenty of sun blocking coverage. The strap is well designed and keeps the hat on in strong winds. The size adjustment toggle in the back works great. This has become my favorite fishing hat.
